Case Background

Marcus Freiberger was a well-known and deeply loved member of the Phoenix community—an uplifting yoga instructor and a trusted friend within the LGBTQ+ community. Marcus was a safe space for others—kind, supportive, and someone who showed up for people in their hardest moments.  At 45 years old, Marcus was 6'1" and 217 lbs. Marcus was last known to be at his apartment, where his dog, Thomas, was later found alone—an action completely out of character for him. His sudden disappearance and tragic death have left family, friends, and the community with unanswered questions. 

The Phoenix Police Department has closed this case—it is NOT under active investigation by the police. ​Although Marcus has been found, his death remains unexplained. Secure Solutions Collective is working to seek the truth. We are asking for the public’s help to bring forward any tips or leads that may help move this case forward.
